Dubstep?

Like dubstep? Ever heard dubstep? Want to listen to some dubstep?
Well here's something you might enjoy. Skrillex (a.k.a Sonny Moore) released his new EP "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" (pictured above) recently. It was an instant success in the dubstep scene. It's an amazing EP, and well worth the money.

Liam Gallagher - Possible Oasis Return

Gallagher had said last month in an interview with Ultimate Guitar that his former band, Oasis, would never get back together. But in a new interview with The Quietus, the singer has now said he won't rule out such a reunion.

Asked what his reaction would be if Oasis were asked to reform for money in the future, Gallagher replied: "I'm not going to say 'never', but at the moment no f-cking chance."

He added: "But it wouldn't be for money, mate. I like to think that if we did get back together - which we f-cking won't - but if we did then it would be for the fans. It would be for the people and the music and not for f-cking money."

Gallagher's new band Beady Eye release their debut album "Different Gear, Still Speeding" (February 28).

Song of the Day!

Every day from here on, I'll be posting any song that I really like and I'm sure others will as well. The point of this is to broaden peoples musical horizons and introduce them to some new music!
Today's Song:

Ugly Casanova - "Hotcha Girls"
Ugly Casanova (click link for free track "Things I Don't Remember" from Sub Pop records), Isaac Brock's (lead singer/guitarist/banjoist/founder of indie-rock band Modest Mouse) side project, released their first and only studio album "Sharpen Your Teeth" on May 21, 2002 featuring 13 original tracks. Brock co-wrote and performed with John Orth of Holopaw one of the prettiest songs on the record, Hotcha Girls. The song is very calm and autumn-esque. Very much like an acoustic ballad.
Give it a listen!

I also recommend listening to their other songs off "Sharpen Your Teeth", as well as their soundtrack work for the documentary "180° South: Conquerors of the Useless" (Full Documentary)!

The White Stripes Break-Up

Jack White: Guitar, Piano, Vocals (Pictured Left)
Meg White: Drums, Percussion, Back-Up Vocals (Pictured Right)
---------------------------------------------------------------
American rock duo, The White Stripes, announced on February 2, 2011 that they would officially end their 14 year career. Very disappointing news. TWS were one of the most unique, talented bands of the decade. Their musical style being rooted in early punk, blues, and country truly made for some unique, yet amazing music.
Check them out. Here are some of my personal favorites:

Gary Moore - Found Dead In Hotel Room

"Whatever Guitar I Pick Up I Can Make Sound A Certain Way"
 --------------------------------------------------------
Gary Moore  (4 April 1952 – 6 February 2011) was found dead in his hotel room in Spain February 6. We lost a true legend that day. Moore was one of the most influential Rock/Blues guitarists and singers of our time playing with bands such as Colosseum II, Greg Lake, BBM (Bruce-Baker-Moore), and most notably Skid Row and Thin Lizzy.
Check out some of his music, he was truly a gifted musician:
